Traceability
Every sealed bag carries a batch number. That number is the whole promise: it ties what is in your kitchen to a farm, a date and the person who inspected it.
What a batch number tells you
- The farm or mill, by name and local government area
- The date it left the source
- The date it was inspected, and by whom
- The facility where it was sealed
Where to find it
On the seal of every bag, on the packed step of your order tracker, and on the product page for anything currently in stock.
Why it is on the packaging and not just here
A claim you can only check on a website is a claim you will not check. Printing it on the seal puts it in your hand at the moment you are deciding whether to trust it.
